Bath & Blow-Dry — Cat Grooming Greenvale
A premium feline bath, conditioning, and full forced-air blow dry. Leaves coat fresh, soft, and significantly less shed-prone.
Who is the Bath & Blow-Dry for?
Cats that are not currently shedding heavily and not in need of clipping — between full grooms, after outdoor adventures, or for show preparation.
About the Bath & Blow-Dry
The Bath & Blow-Dry is our shortest, most affordable service — perfect when your cat does not need a clip or de-shedding treatment but the coat is dull, oily, or just due a refresh. It is the same bath stage you would get inside a Lion Cut or De-shedding Spa, offered as a stand-alone service.
The bath uses a feline-pH shampoo (cat skin is significantly more acidic than dog skin and reacts to dog products) and a follow-up conditioning rinse. The blow-dry stage uses a high-velocity, low-noise dryer angled to keep the cat calm — most cats tolerate it well after a brief settling period. The end result is fully dry to the skin, with coat lifted and brushed naturally.
Common reasons owners book the Bath & Blow-Dry: a litter accident, a fence climb that left them dusty, in-between full grooming visits, when guests are coming over, or simply because the cat smells like cat. It is also a good choice for first-time grooming visits — a less invasive way for your cat to meet the studio.

Bath & Blow-Dry — Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from de-shedding?
The Bath & Blow-Dry is a refresh — it cleans and lifts coat. The De-shedding Spa adds a clarifying shampoo, longer conditioning soak, and finishing tools to physically remove dead undercoat. If your goal is reducing shedding, choose de-shedding.
My cat is matted — can I just book a bath?
Bathing matted coats actually tightens the mats. We will not bath a matted cat — please book a Lion Cut for Matted Coats or Matt Removal instead.
Will this stop hairballs?
Reduced shedding lowers the volume of hair your cat ingests when grooming themselves. Bath alone has a small effect. De-shedding spa is much more effective for reducing hairballs.
Can I add a flea treatment?
Yes. Flea Shampoo Treatment ($20) can be added to any bath service.
